This declaration applies to all pages under this domain as well as to linked subpages, member areas and integrated third-party services, insofar as these are used within the scope of this website.

We process personal data in accordance with the applicable regulations, in particular

5. data collection on this website

We collect data in two ways:

  • Directly from you (e.g. contact form, registration, newsletter, applications).
  • Automatically during the visit (e.g. IP address, browser type/version, operating system, date/time, pages accessed).

Purposes: technical provision and security, answering inquiries, managing memberships (by the association), statistical evaluation and optimization of our offer.

6. server log files & security

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits (e.g. browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address). Processing is based on legitimate interests (security, stability, error analysis).

7. external hosting

This website is operated by an external service provider (hoster). Personal data collected on this website is processed on the hoster's servers. This is done to fulfill the contract and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offer. If necessary, the processing takes place on the basis of your consent.

8. registration, accounts & membership

When you register in the member area, the data you provide will be processed in order to grant you access and manage your account. Association-related registrations/admissions are processed and managed by the Swiss Family Investors Club association.

9. contact channels (e-mail, telephone, forms)

When you contact us, we process your data to process the request and any follow-up questions.

10. applications

When you apply, we process your data exclusively for the purpose of checking your application and communication. If your application is successful, further processing will take place to establish and implement the employment relationship. We generally delete unsuccessful applications after three months at the latest, provided there are no legitimate interests or legal obligations to the contrary.

11th Newsletter

For the newsletter, we require your e-mail address and confirmation that you are the owner of the address (double opt-in). Further data is only collected voluntarily. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future (unsubscribe link).

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage). Where required by law, we obtain your consent via a consent banner before setting non-essential cookies. You can change or revoke your selection in the banner at any time.

13. analysis, marketing & integrated third-party services

The following services are only used if this is technically necessary or, in the case of non-essential tools, if you have given your consent. Data may be transferred to third countries (e.g. USA).

13.1 Google Analytics

Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze your use of the website. The information generated is usually transferred to Google servers (e.g. in the USA) and stored there.   • IP anonymization activated: IP truncation within the EU/EEA; in exceptional cases, transfer to the USA with subsequent truncation.
  • Opt-out: Browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
  • Demographic characteristics: Reports on age, gender and interests (cannot be assigned to specific individuals).
  • Storage period at Google: generally 14 months (anonymized/deletion date-controlled).

13.2 Google Analytics Remarketing & Google Ads (incl. DoubleClick)

With your consent, we can use cross-device advertising functions. This allows interest-based advertising to be displayed on different devices. Deactivation at any time via the ad settings of your Google account (https://adssettings.google.com/).

13.3 Google AdSense

Cookies/web beacons can be used to display context-related advertisements.

13.5 Yoast SEO

Yoast SEO is used for content-related search engine optimization. According to the current status, no personal visitor data is processed; should future functions process data, this will only be done on the basis of the applicable legal basis and, if necessary, consent.

13.6 Google Reviews - Premium Addons for Elementor

IP address and technical information may be processed to display Google ratings.

Personal data (e.g. name, contact details, order details) is processed to process your orders.

13.8 One Click Accessibility

The plugin improves the accessibility of the website. As things stand, it does not process any personal data of visitors.

13.9 Site Kit from Google

Site Kit bundles reports/statistics from Google services (e.g. Analytics, Search Console). The plugin itself generally does not process any personal data of visitors; the underlying services may process data - see the respective sections.

13.10 Meta pixel (Facebook)

The meta pixel can be used for conversion measurement and remarketing. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. The data collected is anonymous to us; Meta can use it for its own purposes (e.g. profiling, advertising).

14 Own social media presence

We maintain profiles on social networks (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). When visiting these profiles, the data protection provisions of the respective platform operators apply. Insofar as we process data there, this is done on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). For some websites, there may be joint responsibility with the platform operator (Art. 26 GDPR); the main content of the agreements is provided by the respective provider. In addition, the relevant provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act apply, in particular Art. 6 FADP (principles of data processing); Art. 9 FADP (data processing by order); Art. 16-18 FADP (disclosure abroad); Art. 30-32 FADP (rights of data subjects (information, rectification, erasure, restriction)).

15. international data transfers (third countries)

Data will only be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the EEA ("third countries") if at least one of the following conditions is met:

  • Adequacy decision (EU or Switzerland) for the country concerned,
  • suitable guarantees (in particular standard contractual clauses/ SCC, supplementary measures),
  • Your express consent or necessity for the fulfillment of the contract.

This may affect the USA in particular if we use services from US providers. There is a risk of government access. As far as possible, we rely on minimization, pseudonymization/encryption and contractual guarantees.

16. storage period & deletion

We only process personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or for as long as there are statutory retention obligations. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

19. SSL/TLS encryption & secure transmission

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize this by "https://" and the lock symbol in the browser. When encryption is activated, transmitted data cannot be read by third parties.

20. objection to advertising e-mails

We object to the use of contact data published in the legal notice for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. We reserve the right to take legal action in the event of spam e-mails.

21 Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this declaration in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or technical developments. The current version published on this page applies in each case.
